For Pokemon Players

O hai thar.

I play Pokemon. (BUMMER.) Anyway I started playing Diamond again after a year about a week ago and I never cared about pokemon stats, movesets, natures and EV's and all that (I'm such a strategist 8D; ), but after I found out just how much they can do I decided to give it a shot, with my first victim being a pretty little Adamant Scyther (named Cuddy :3). Here's the problem though - I plan to evolve it to Scizor and according to Serebii.net, Scizor has far lower base speed (which could be a problem later on). What I don't understand is how exactly does the speed lower itself when you evolve it. Does evolution reduce the amount of speed stat points you gain per level? Because I thought about evolving Scyther at lv. 99-100 (since scizor doesn't really have any better moves). Would that work?

Blah anyway, back to EV training... 134 attack EVs, 135 attack EVs... -zZzZz-

It doesn't matter WHEN you evolve him - if you evolve him at lvl 100, his stats would just drop. But if you keep him the attack that raises SPEED, I guess he'd be a killer after evolving, too ;)

Awwww, dammit... And here I thought I'd have a kickass Scyther-stat Scizor 8D; Oh well. The speed raising attack - you mean Agility? Mhmmmm... I thought I'd teach it False Swipe, Wing Attack, X-Scissor and Night Slash (FS because I'll be using it to catch others :3)... Guess I'll just EV up some speed points and then drop it.

Actually, if you want him for catching others, then these attacks are a good choice and speed doesn't even matter (because wild Pokémon are slow and dumb X-D). If you'd want him for serious within-user fights, then you'd need more than this. Unless you want to fight like LisákVUK :)

Lmao, I know he isn't good for fighting people XD Although, well, it's not like I have any experience in that stuff. I never really fought anyone except the lame in-game trainers and myself, once 8D; And I only have... 4 lv100's overall 8D; (Infernape, Empoleon, Luxray and Charizard - gotta love starters) So I just thought maybe I could use it against a real person sometime. I mean you never know until you try, right ^^ But I'll train more pokies, of course :3

Btw. How does VUK fight? ^^;

Vuk uses the "bum-sem-bum-tam" strategy, having all fighting attacks in one Pokémon, even two of the same type (like Flamethrower and Ember !!!). All non-fighting attacks, like stats-modifiers, healing attacks, confusions etc. he calls "sviňárny" and hates to fight against X-D

LMAO. Well, actually, -cough- I only use fighting attacks too -cough-. Confusing, healing and status-changing atts are nice, I would NEVER use stats modifiers myself though. I like to be quick to kill >:3 I dunno, they're pretty much useless IMO. 8D; (Well, maybe Double Team can save your neck, but it just raises the chance (I will never forget that goddamn lv53 Sandslash who beat my lv100 Luxray because of freaking Sandstorm and increased evasiveness), I like 100% stuff XD)
